Appetizer Spareribs New York Times From the McBee collection Yield: 6 servings 3 lbs. spareribs 4 Tbsp. unsulphured molasses 4 Tbsp. prepared mustard 3 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. Tabasco 3 Tbsp. soy sauce Preheat the oven to 350o. Have the sparerib racks cut in 3 lengthwise strips. Cut the strips into individual ribs with kitchen shears. Place in shallow bakng pan. Thoroughly combine unsulphured molasses and prepared mustard. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Brush spareribs with part of the sauce. Bake 1½ hours, brushing frequently with remaining sauce. To serve, drain on absorbent paper and turn into a chafing dish. |
