Sunday Cake Scandia Barn 1½ cup flour 2 tsp. baking powder ½ cup water ¼ cup butter 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind Sift flour and baking power together. Bring water to boiling, add butter and cool. Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add flour, lemon rind and water. Blend well. Pour into a well greased and crumbed deep round pan. Bake in a slow oven 300o for 1 hour. NOTE: This is another McBee recipe and one I used to make in the house on Rt. 21. It is plain but good.
