Simple Barbecue Sauce

⅔ cup ketchup
½ cup cider vinegar
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp. pimentón (smoked Spanish paprika)
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
