Maple Pudding Aesculapian Cookbook Mrs. Hillel Gitelman Yield: 4 or more servings 1 pkg. orange jello 1 cup boiling water 1 cup maple syrup 1 cup whipped cream Dissolve jello in boiling water, then add maple syrup. When mixture begins to set, beat with electric mixer. Then fold in whipped cream. Arrange in large glass bowl, garnished wtih slices of oranges, nuts and lady fingers, as desired. |

Strawberries Extraordinaire Applehood and Motherpie Nancy S. Milbury Yield: 20 berries 20 large fresh strawberries 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil Wash and dry berries. Set aside. Melt the chocolate in top of double boiler over warm, not boiling, water. Stir in oil. Dip strawberries in chocolate, then place on waxed paper to cool -Do not refrigerate. These may be prepared early in the day but will not keep overnight. |
