Franks

Anne Smith's mother, Eileen
Yield: 6 servings

1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 onion
½ tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. Worchester sauce
½ tsp. tabasco sauce
½ tsp. pepper
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. paprika
½ cup ketchup
¾ cup water
¼ cup vinegar
12 franks

Score the tops of the franks. I think I made one long cut. Cook franks in a casserole dish at 350o for 30 minutes.

My best friend growing up was Anne Smith and this was her mother's recipe. Evelyn made it and then I made it, back when we ate hot dogs. I never found a better version.
