Granola Thanks to George Mizner 3 cups regular rolled oats 1 cup pecans 1 cup pinenuts 1 cup almonds - sliced or not 1 cup sunflower seeds 1 cup pumpkin seeds 1 cup wheat germ ½ cup flax ½ cup canola oil 8 ounces maple syrup ½ tsp. vanilla ½ tsp. cinnamon 1 package Craisins. Mix all ingredients together, spread in a jelly roll type pan and back at 250o for 2 to 3 hours. Stir while hot to loosen from pan. Wait until cool to add dried fruit and store in airtight container. |
