Turkey Scallop Mildred Vogan Thanks to Jayne 1 cup celery 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup melted butter 2 1/2 cups toasted bread crumbs 4 cups turkey milk 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/8 tsp. pepper Cook celery in boiling water until tender. Pour melted butter over toasted bread crumbs. Combine celery water with milk to make 2 cups. Melt remaining butter, stir in flour and add 2 cups liquid. Stir until thick. Add seasoning. Layer turkey and celery over half of crumbs. Pour sauce over that and add remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 350o for 20 to 25 minutes. |
