Fruit Salad Dressing Alice White Wright Patterson Air Force Base ½ cup sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. celery seed Grated onion - size of half dollar ⅓ cup vinegar 1 cup salad oil Measure dry ingredients into a bowl. Add onion and sugar. Beat. Add oil gradually. Beat. Add remaining vinegar and beat. Lastly add celery seed. Let it set for a day or two. Note: Alice recommended putting the onion through a garlic press. This dressing is really good with a composed salad of grapefruit and avacado sections. |
