Fruit Salad Dressing
Alice White
Wright Patterson Air Force Base

½ cup sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. celery seed
Grated onion - size of half dollar
⅓ cup vinegar
1 cup salad oil

Measure dry ingredients into a bowl. Add onion and sugar. Beat. Add oil gradually. Beat. Add remaining vinegar and beat. Lastly add celery seed. Let it set for a day or two.

Note: Alice recommended putting the onion through a garlic press. This dressing is really good with a composed salad of grapefruit and avacado sections.
